Black Friday 2015: Jumia set to reach1 billion Naira Investment milestone in Nigeria

Black Friday 2015 is fast approaching and Nigeria’s largest online shopping store and marketplace, Jumia is set to reach a milestone by investing a whopping 1 billion Naira into the one day shopping event that takes place once a year.

As it’s been celebrated, Black Friday is usually the Friday following Thanksgiving Day which started in the United States and been regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US and now spreads to other nations which most major retailers both offline and online stores offers promotional sales.

According to Jumia Nigeria, the 2015 Black Friday will be the biggest sales day in Nigeria’s online shopping history. 

The 2014 event, that saw and witness Jumia’s website crashed down a couple of time during the one day event is set to double activities this year with so many line up exclusives products at massive discounted rate of up 90% off.
