NYSC Advices Batch B 2015 PCMs

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) had earlier schedule the 2015 Batch B orientation camp for Prospective Corp Members (PCMs) on October 28, 2015 for stream1 and November 25, 2015 for stream2.

Prospective corp members were extremely anxious to get their call up letters on 21st october, 2015 but to no avail. NYSC apologised via their twitter handle @nysc_ng stating that "Guys, we know the feeling. Everyone is eager to know his/her state of deployment. No doubt, it'll be released but let's prepare ourselves for the camp".

NYSC went further to advice PCMs, taking PCMs through the rudiments of nysc camping.
  • All PCMs will be served food on their first day in camp, even WITHOUT their meal tickets. Welfare of CMs is our number one priority. #CampAdvice
  • Sharp objects like knives aren't allowed. Your food flask shouldn't be too small and shouldn't appear like you're 4-in-1. #Lol... #CampAdvice
  • You'll only be allowed to put on mufti ONLY on visiting days (Sundays). There's no need packing all your designer wears to camp. RT ds #CampAdvice
  • Smoking and taking of illegal drugs are highly PROHIBITED. All antisocial activities are not allowed. Be ready to obey the clarion call. #CampAdvice
  • Do not bring your LAPTOPS to camp nor carry heavy bags. Make sure the things you carry, you can keep an eye on them. #CampAdvice
  • When you get to the camp, be yourself. Make GOOD FRIENDS! Engage yourself in the camp activities. Make good use of the SAED sessions. #CampAdvice
  • Ensure to have your mosquito net. Come with a pair of white canvas, a plain white polo and white short nicker. Don't share TOOTHBRUSH. #CampAdvice
  • There are mami markets in all the NYSC camps throughout the federation. Go there to buy only the stuff you need not to loiter about. #CampAdvice
