According to the BBC, Beckham will travel through "the villages of Papua New Guinea, the foothills of Nepal, the streets of Buenos Aires, the desert plains of Djibouti [as well as] the elevated pitches of Miami and frozen wastelands of Antarctica".
The 90 minute film will see the footballer meeting with a variety of characters in an attempt to discover what the game means to people across the globe and how it can change their lives.
He will play either seven-a-side or 11-a-side games with two teams made up of people from the local community, often travelling through dangerous terrains to reach the pitches.
